Cannabidoil (CBD) is a natural chemical compound with health-promoting properties obtained from the Cannabis plant; CBD is a safe, non-toxic compound free of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive ingredient present in Cannabis.

Our extraction process is proprietary and developed in-house after years of experience in the extraction, purification and distillation process industry. In fact, we are a leader in the distillation industry.

Our broad spectrum CBD oils contain zero (non-detectable) amounts of THC, but maintain the full profile of all existing phytocannabinoids.

Contrary to our solution of removing only THC from CBD oil, about 95% of CBD products that claim "no or zero THC" are devoid of any phytocannabinoids. They simply formulate a product with only CBD. Since some 544 valuable cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and lipids are left out, the full medicinal effect (usually called the "entourage effect") is severely compromised.

All that remains after gentle extraction and processing is the most effective and purest broad-spectrum, phytocannabinoid-rich CBD oil you can buy.

Our CBD oil is non-GMO, organic observed (certified organic upon request), vegetarian, vegan, pesticide and chemical free.

No preservatives, additives or pesticides are ever used and a third party test is always performed to confirm potency and purity.

Solid/liquid extraction
In cannabis purification, scientists typically use a solvent to extract chemical compounds from the dried hemp plant. This extraction step produces a crude, dried extract containing cannabinoids, terpenes, lipids, waxes and other compounds.

Winterization
Winterization removes unwanted components from the crude extract. The first step is to dilute the crude extract in ethanol and store the mixture at the freezing point of ethanol (114°C) for at least 24 hours. This causes the removal of lipids and waxes from the extract.

Winterization
To remove precipitates and other particles from the extract, vacuum filtration using a Buckner funnel is used. The filtrate micron is 0.45 or less.

Drying
To remove ethanol from the extract, a rotary aveporator or vacuum distillation can be used. This leaves behind the cannabonoids and terpenes.

Distillation
To produce a distilled product rich in cannabinoids, short-path distillation, fractional distillation or wet film distillation can be chosen.

Dilution
Next is to dilute the cannabinoid mixture in the appropriate solvent to bring it to a state where it can be pumped through the columns to clean up the THC.

Filtration
Finally, vacuum filtration using a Buchner funnel or plate press can be used to remove precipitates from the dilute sample solution. The micron rating of the filter should be 0.45 or less. The extracts are now ready to be injected into a distillation column.

Purification
We use chromatography to separate natural compounds with high recovery and purity. Because the process uses a liquid stationary phase, it requires up to five times less solvent to dilute the cannabinoids than is used in other types of chromatography. The process involves a single step: simply inject the sample solution into the column and let the process method run to completion.

Drying
Using a rotary evaporator and distillation, the user can remove the solvents, leaving behind the compound(s).The solvent can be reused. It is important to note that a separate analytical technique, such as analytical HPLC, should be used to determine the identity and purity of the final isolated compound(s).

Products are derived from biomass processed in a certified clean room laboratory space, and in food grade facilities permitted according to the controlling state public health department.
Extraction and quality management systems are GMP compliant.
After the initial extraction of CBD-rich hemp oil, and as required by a HyperNovaCBD customer, the crude CBD oil can be further refined to produce CBD distillate, THC-free CBD distillate and other broad-spectrum distillates.

These products are then typically processed and packaged by the customer into a wide range of finished medicines, such as CBD oil tinctures, capsules, topicals and many other formulations.
All oils and isolates produced by HyperNovaCBD are traceable to the original hemp genetic strains grown in the United States and third-party tested.

CBD isolates are created by processing hemp oil in a way that leaves behind no traces of chlorophyll, plant oil, waxes, and other material. CBD remains the only compound. However, without the other compounds prtesent, the full effect of the hemp plant's ~200 compounds will not provide optimum medicinal value.
